.. Once the vast array of fabric selections were nailed down in our new palette, I went to work on designing the 38 new furniture pieces which were all custom made. An astounding number of windows to encourage lots of light into the house, meant designing 34 drops of decadent and glamorous custom draperies. Custom drapery hardware was designed to compliment and offset the drapes.

DRAMATIC KITCHEN TRANSFORMATION
"TEXAS GLAM" ... An 8,800 sq ft project in Portland Oregon Working on the Interior Design of this project was a designers dream. My client's ideas and her detailed wish list, banished all the colors in the 3200 sq ft home they had enjoyed for the past 10 years. The bold and strong accents of vibrant reds, greens and gold’s in the living area, were to be replaced by a cooler and quieter palette, encompassing off-white, temperate blues, warm taupes and rich chocolate browns.

My client wanted to keep her existing trestle style dining table, but it could only seat 8 and our new dining space demanded a table twice that size. An easy solution was to purchase another table just the same and put them together. Alas this piece was no longer available, so my furniture maker got to work to replicate an identical piece so they could accommodate 16. The seating arrangements include a mix of elegant bench seats and chairs in multiple complimentary fabrics, to make for stylish dinner parties.
